Facebook
Facebook is a site in which you can find your friends, see their posts, and see what they tag you in. It's easy to also talk to your friends through the Facebook messenger instead of text messaging. Facebook for me right now is used for viewing photos and tagging friends in funny pictures so they can see or tagging them in videos too, so they can view it also.
Twitter
Twitter is a site where people posts updates of their lives or things they want to speak about. People retweet each other so other people can see it too. I don't use twitter as much as the other social media sites but I believe that the other social media sites provide more options than twitter.
Snapchat
An app in which friends add each other and take pictures to send to other friends. You also have the choice to post on your story in which it will be up for 24hrs or until you take it down and your friends can view this story. My impression of this is, it's a very handy app in which you can take pictures and send it to friends to see with a time limit on the pictures.
Instagram
A website/app in which people posts pictures and videos with friends and family. Slowly Instagram has moved away from this and has become an advertisement site. Famous Instagram people would posts photos or videos promoting products. The more followers you have the more money you would be able to obtain from companies that want to promote their products.
